The workflow stays simple so the result remains understandable. It is a practical comparison on your machine, not a laboratory certification.

    Run a baseline

    Measure the PC before applying the changes you want to evaluate.

    Apply your selection

    Choose the tweaks or preset you intend to test. Keep the comparison focused on that change set.

    Run the after-test

    Benchmark again after the selected changes are in place.

    Compare honestly

    Review the before and after score with the app’s variance margin instead of treating every small move as meaningful.

What it measures

Responsiveness signals, combined for comparison.

YUKFUE combines documented system signals into a benchmark score and presents a before→after comparison. It does not turn that score into a guaranteed FPS claim.

Results vary by hardware, starting state, drivers, thermals, background activity, and the changes being tested.

The useful question is whether your own result moves beyond normal run-to-run noise.

Timer resolution

A Windows timing signal used in the responsiveness score.

CPU jitter

Variation in processor timing behavior during the benchmark.

DPC saturation

A signal related to deferred system work and responsiveness.

Disk

A storage responsiveness signal included in the composite comparison.

Memory

A proxy signal—not a claim of direct end-to-end mouse-to-screen latency.

A pacing-related responsiveness signal, not a universal FPS measurement.

Variance is information

Not every movement is a result.

One run can move a few points because a PC is never perfectly still. YUKFUE includes a ± variance margin so a tiny change can be treated as effectively the same instead of being marketed as a win.

A better result, a worse result, or no meaningful change can all be useful outcomes. They tell you what happened on your PC during that comparison—not what every user should expect.

These are practical benchmarking habits, not a guarantee that every run will match.

A fair before-and-after test

Build a comparison you can trust.

Yukfue's Optimization Utility gives you a structured loop: baseline, apply supported changes, restart when needed, retest, and compare. The quality of that comparison still depends on keeping the test conditions honest.

    Capture a true baseline

    Close unnecessary background work and benchmark before applying the changes you want to test. A score saved after earlier tweaks is not a valid before-state.

  2. 02

    Match the conditions

    Use the same PC, Windows and driver state, power plan, game or app, workload, scene, settings, FPS cap, overlays, background apps, and similar thermal conditions.

  3. 03

    Apply changes cleanly

    Test one known preset or workflow at a time when practical. Avoid stacking unknown outside tweaks, and complete any restart or reboot the selected changes require.

  4. 04

    Retest more than once

    Repeat the after-test under the same conditions. Several consistent runs are more useful than one lucky score.

  5. 05

    Compare the trend

    Keep positive, neutral, and negative results. Compare your own PC over time instead of treating the score as a universal cross-PC ranking.

Invalid comparison warning signs

A clean score card cannot fix a bad baseline.

  • The “before” score was captured after prior tweaks or optimization.
  • The game, map, scene, workload, settings, or FPS cap changed.
  • Windows, drivers, hardware, overlays, or background apps changed between runs.
  • Power or thermal conditions do not reasonably match.
  • A required restart or reboot was skipped.
  • The best after-run is paired with the worst before-run, or the context is unclear.

The app workflow

Measure instead of guessing.

The local responsiveness benchmark uses multiple signals, preserves a baseline for later comparison, and can show a positive, neutral, or negative move. Share My Score is an optional local export of that comparison; the card does not establish what caused the result by itself.

Benchmark results vary by PC, Windows setup, drivers, thermals, background apps, game settings, and workflow. Use matched before-and-after tests and repeated runs instead of relying on one score.
